- Composition book
- Mechanical pencil, eraser, ruler and calculator
II. ASSIGNMENTS:
All assignments should be checked on a weekly basis at:
The school's Honor Code is in effect for the following assignments:
TESTS
§ Tests will cover each unit of material including reading assignments,
lab activities and classroom discussion.
§ All work must be shown. Partial credit may be awarded for solutions
that are partially correct.
QUIZZES
§ Quizzes may or may not be announced
§ Quizzes may contain questions and/or problems from the homework, the reading
assignments and/or based on recently covered or previously learned material.
LABS
§ Labs are performed in groups for data collection purposes only.
§ Your lab report should be done on your graph notebook.
PhysicsQuests
§ All PhysicsQuest must be typed.
§ Late PhysicsQuests will NOT be accepted.
HOMEWORK
§ All homework assignments should be done on your graph notebook.
§ It is OK to work in groups for homework. It is not OK to copy homework from a
classmate.
§ Homework will be graded on the basis of completeness.
§ All work must be shown. If you do not know how to solve a problem you have to
demonstrate that you tried to solve it.
III. GRADING POLICY:
Each grading period:
40% Tests
20% Quizzes, Labs and PhysicsQuests
20% Class work and Problem Solving book
20% Homework
IV. OTHER POLICIES:
MAKE-UP WORK
§ The school's policies will be strictly enforced.
§ Students are responsible for making-up all missed
work and arranging for missed quizzes and/or tests.
